New Patient Registration
If you live within our practice area you are welcome to register with us and our reception staff will be happy to guide you through the procedure. Eligibility can be quickly confirmed from your address so please provide proof by way of a recent utility bill. We also require one form of photographic ID.
You will need to complete a registration form (GMS1) and a health questionnaire which will provide useful information whilst we wait for your medical records to arrive from your previous doctor.
All new patients are offered a health check with a member of the healthcare team to ensure that any required tests are up to date and that we have an accurate note of any repeat medication you may be taking.
The Practice Area
The Practice covers the town of Whittlesey and the surrounding area. To support the Choice of GP Practice initiative, we recently agreed a new Inner and Outer boundary with NHS Cambridgeshire.
Our Inner Boundary remains unchanged and extends beyond Whittlesey as follows:-
North to Stone Bridge Corner
East to include Turves
South to include Pondersbridge
West towards Horsey Toll
In addition, our Outer Boundary covers a larger area and means that patients moving a short distance from our Inner Boundary can still remain with the Practice. We can also accept new patient registrations from these areas.
Our Outer Boundary extends as follows:-
North to include Thorney
West to include Stanground (including the new development at Cardea) and Farcet
South to include Benwick
Our Easterly border remains unchanged to include Turves
